A rough draft of some lyrics I'm working on at the moment. I had been calling it 'Take it, Hide it, Own it' but now I'm calling it 'Patchwork Lover':
'All at once
Slow motion scene
Boundless air
But I can't breathe
Pulse thunders under over
Lips mumble of her 'own her'
All at once
A sun drenched scene
And her eyes are all I see...
...so I'll
Take them, hide them, own them
And at night when I'm alone
I'll piece her back together
Patchwork lover'
